Roma have reached the semi-final of three different UEFA competitions in the last four years, completing the hat-trick with the Europa Conference League, while Jose Mourinho maintained his record.
The 4-0 victory over Bodo/Glimt has allowed the Giallorossi to qualify 5-2 on aggregate, where they will face Leicester City in the semi-finals.
It means Mourinho maintains his 100 per cent record in European tournament quarter-finals, going through in all 11 of them during his career.
As for Roma, they really are the most European side in Serie A judging by recent results.
Conference League | Roma 4-0 Bodo/Glimt (5-2 agg): Zaniolo hat-trick books semi-final
This is their third semi-final in the last four years, having reached this stage of the Champions League in 2017-18 and the Europa League last season.
The Europa Conference League therefore represents their personal hat-trick of UEFA tournaments.
Curiously, these were also all achieved under three different coaches – Eusebio Di Francesco for the Champions League, Paulo Fonseca in the Europa League and Mourinho in the Conference League.
However, the Stadio Olimpico side have only ever won a single European trophy, the 1960-61 Fair’s Cup, also known as the Inter-Cities Fairs Cup.
Roma on the brink of reaching a 3rd European semi-final in 4 years. 3 different competitions – Champions League, Europa League and now the Conference League. 3 different coaches – Di Fra, Fonseca, Mourinho. At least someone’s keeping the Serie A co-efficient honest

Forza Roma!
Each a step downward, though. But at least they’re doing something positive, unlike the rest from Italy.
Leicester will be 50-50, I’d say.
Well done Roma – but overall it’s too little from Serie A
Forza Roma
