Roma centre-back Roger Ibanez is attracting summer transfer attention from several Premier League clubs, including Tottenham Hotspur, West Ham and Newcastle United.
The Brazilian was signed from Atalanta for €9m plus bonuses after an initial loan spell from January 2020.
He is suspended for this evening’s Europa League Round of 16 tie against Real Sociedad at the Stadio Olimpico.
According to Calciomercato.com, Ibanez and his agent met with Roma directors over the last few days and are preparing for a potential summer transfer to England.
Tottenham Hotspur and Newcastle United had already made an approach last season, but were put off by the €35m asking price.
Now West Ham United have joined the list of Premier League sides interested in the 24-year-old defender, who has a release clause worth €80m.
Considering the general prices paid by Premier League clubs on the transfer market, Roma are hoping to get €50m for Ibanez.
