Roma are being linked with Bologna full-back Takehiro Tomiyasu, but the asking price of €20m could prevent a move for the Japan international.

Tomiyasu has been a revelation at the Rossoblu and after his €9m move from Belgian side Sint-Triuden last summer, he has been linked with a third change in as many years this summer.

The right-back has played 20 games in Serie A, contributing two assists in the process, and signed a five-year deal at the Dall’Ara on his arrival last July.

The Gazzetta dello Sport claims Roma admire the Japan international, capped 18 times by his country, but would have to accommodate for a transfer to materialise.

The Giallorossi will reportedly have difficulties finding a new employer for Juan Jesus, due to the Brazilian’s high salary, and could have to part ways with both him and 34-year-old Aleksandar Kolarov, who recently extended his contract until June 2021 at the Olimpico, to accommodate for the promising Bologna player.
