Within the next 24 hours, Roma will reportedly present Paulo Dybala with a contract offer and they’ll expect an answer soon after.

Giallorossi coach Jose Mourinho personally spoke to the Argentinian forward on the phone a week ago, trying to convince him of the move to the Italian capital by underlining the ambitions and project. The Portuguese coach had hoped to have Dybala ready for the pre-season training camp tomorrow but he may have to wait a little longer.

As reported by Corriere dello Sport, Mourinho wants Dybala in his Roma squad and he’s pushed director Tiago Pinto to make a decisive move. Within the next 24 hours, Pinto will officially present the Giallorossi’s offer to the player’s agents.

Roma will make it clear to the 28-year-old that they expect an answer within the next few days or they’ll start to focus on other targets, like free agent Jesse Lingard and Atalanta’s Mario Pasalic.

  1. I will be amazed if he goes to Roma. Deep down he wants Inter and will hold out until the last minute. If they offload Sanchez it will still not be enough as they need to clear either Dzeko or Correa as well.

  2. @dt, what make you think Sanchez will leave? He won’t leave and we all know Marotta is a mediocre CEO who has trouble to sell mediocre players.

  3. Its not a bad move for Dybala tbh.

He is a certain starter at Roma and will be their biggest star by far. Which should suit his primadonna habits.

Inter cant get rid of their trash to sign him anyways.

Inter will be in big trouble attacking wise at the end of season. Even now they have issues if Lautaro and/or Lukaku cant play 95% of the games as Dzeko is a useless finished old bum and Corea is a serie B level player at best.

  4. @dt – how do you know that he deep down wants Inter? Did he tell you this? Or is it because the Inter newspaper La Gazetta dello sport keeps pushing this narrative? He never said he wants Inter. He said he wanted to stay at Juve, but that obviously didn’t work out.
