Roma are reportedly pushing hard to close a €16m deal for Boca Juniors midfielder Agustin Almendra.
According to Calciomercato.it, there were ‘big strides’ in negotiations last night and Roma ‘expect’ to snap up Almendra soon.
It comes despite the 19-year-old having a €30m release clause, which was said to have put off Napoli.
