Luis Muriel could make the jump to the Italian capital as Roma look to snap him up in the summer.

The 31-year-old Colombian forward has had a tough season under Gian Piero Gasperini in Bergamo, remaining prolific but struggling to help as the team slowly regressed across the course of this campaign. Muriel has scored eight goals and provided eight assists in 25 Serie A appearances this season, proving his quality.

As reported by Rai Sport, Muriel could be sold by Atalanta this summer for around €20m and Roma are keen to secure his services. They have already made the initial move and are now exploring the possibility of a deal inn the summer.

The 31-year-old Muriel’s contract expires with la Dea in 2023, meaning they’ll need to sell him in the next few months if they want to cash in still.

Signing the Colombian forward gives Jose Mourinho a few more offensive options as he looks to break into the top four next season.
