Roma have reportedly poached Napoli commercial and marketing director Serena Salvione after five very impressive years with the Partenopei.

According to Calcio e Finanza, a deal has been lined up and she will sign for the Giallorossi over the next few days.

Salvione is considered to be the main person responsible for the recent boost in commercial deals that Napoli have done on the market, including partnerships with Amazon as their shirt sleeve sponsors, with Socios for the Fan Tokens and naming rights to the training centre for Konami.

She had been at Napoli since September 2016, but reportedly resigned this week because she already has a deal lined up with Roma.

Calcio e Finanza claims she was picked personally by the Friedkin family and new Roma CEO Pietro Berardi.

Before Napoli, Salvione had worked at Juventus as Partnership Marketing Manager and then Senior Partnership Account Manager between 2007 and 2012.

She went to work in the United States as a Senior Manager Global Marketing Partnerships for the NBA.
