Roma are hoping to tie Italy youngster Niccoli Pisilli down to a new and improved long-term contract, as the highly-rated 20-year-old is still on the standard terms for a Primavera player at the Stadio Olimpico.
Roma plan new contract for Italy youngster Pisilli
Pisilli, who made his senior debut for the Italy national team in the 2-2 draw against Belgium on Thursday, currently earns a reported €70,000 per season on his Primavera contract. That is standard for most academy graduates before making the step up to the senior squad, but Roma now view the youngster as a valuable member of the first-team.
According to reports from Corriere dello Sport, there have been initial, informal conversations about extending Pisilli’s contract with his agent, but they plan to get a new deal hashed out in the near future.
Pisilli is currently tied to Roma until the summer of 2026, which means there isn’t a particularly pressing deadline for a contract extension.
As conversations over a new deal are still at the initial stages, the specific details have not yet been revealed, but il Corriere dello Sport reports that he could end up with ‘several more zeroes’ on his annual wage, which indicates that an offer is likely to be above the €1m mark per season.
Happy trophy-less for the rest of his career then LOL
Come on, do not tease Roma.
@interfan75 Ok ok … you’re romanista in disguise, ashamed to support Roma & disguise yourself as Inter fan? I won’t make fun of this small club whose despite their long history, only manage to win very few trophies, and they have delusional supporters too. Oh, one more thing, that bonsai trophy will never be forgotten by the whole world LOL.
I’m Serie A fan, after Inter, that’s it. 🙂
