Reports in Spain suggest Roma have agreed terms with Real Betis for goalkeeper Pau Lopez at a total cost of over €30m.
The Giallorossi identified him as the ideal replacement for Robin Olsen, who was bitterly disappointing last season.
Negotiations had stalled over the last couple of days and he was seen in pre-season training with the Spaniards.
According to the Diario de Sevilla newspaper, the two clubs have now worked out a deal that will end up being worth over €30m rather than the original €28m.

This would consist of €24m cash plus bonuses and the remaining 50 per cent of Antonio Sanabria’s contract, which is valued at €7.5m overall.
There would also be a discount on some other fees still owed as part of the Sanabria move, which adds another €1.8m.
