It’s not been an easy season in the Italian capital for Tammy Abraham and Roma are willing to listen to offers for him in January, reports detail.

The 25-year-old Englishman had a great debut season under Jose Mourinho, scoring 27 goals in 53 games across all competitions, but has failed to replicate that form this season, only scoring four goals in 20 games across Serie A and the Europa League. Abraham was booed by the fans when he was taken off in Roma’s 1-1 draw with Torino and tension is starting to mount.

As reported by Daniele Longo of Calciomercato.com, Roma are open to selling Abraham in the upcoming January transfer market should any interesting offers arrive. He was signed for €40m from Chelsea last year, so it would need to be a fairly lucrative offer to convince the Giallorossi.

Roma director Tiago Pinto wants to strengthen the squad available to Mourinho in January and has his sights set of Sassuolo’s Davide Frattesi. The Italian midfielder won’t be easy to pick up, however, as the Neroverdi are only open to a definitive sale and won’t consider loan offers.

  1. cypher you have a disturbing problem with the english, let it go, dont see you write about the brilliant italians in england, or even the flop belotti,

Im confussed here, roma 2 days ago said they were happy with abraham and didnt understand how he didnt get the call up for england – now thr saying thr happy to sell at right price. Wooow

  2. I think what Abraham needs is confidence, he plays as if he is trying to impress someone. He should learn how to hold the ball and stop all this haste to do away with the ball. I believe he Wii come over it. It will be good Roma keep him.bl selling him is penny wise pounds foolish. Yea h him to be himself and he should stop being afraid to make mistakes, he should be adventurous in field

  3. I don’t think he needs to be sold. Effective rotation based on the competition we have should motivate particularly between him, Belotti, Eldor etc. We definitely need a PROPER and STRONG defender however.
