Roma are reportedly on red alert for Lucas Torreira after the midfielder’s agent confirmed he wanted to leave Sampdoria.
Gazzetta dello Sport reported on Wednesday that Roma were courting Torreira after missing out on Tomas Rincon, the 20-year-old regarded by the Giallorossi as having shades of their former playmaker David Pizarro.
“Roma? So far, there’s been no contact,” his representative Pablo Betancourt told LaRoma24.it.

“Roma? So far, there’s been no contact,” his representative Pablo Betancourt told LaRoma24.it.
“In the papers, however, I’ve read interest from Roma. He’s a very versatile player, one of quality and quantity.
“He’s good in both phases of the game, only 20 years old, and in a team that play good football, he can give a lot.
“We haven’t renewed with Sampdoria, and the objective would be for him to join another club.”
The Uruguayan has started all-but-two of Samp’s 18 Serie A games this season, while his contract still has three-and-a-half years left to run.
