According to Il Corriere dello Sport, Arsenal defender Calum Chambers has been offered to Roma, but Diogo Dalot remains the priority for José Mourinho.

The Special One has often complained about the club’s transfer strategy lately and the Serie A giants are preparing for four new signings in January.

Mourinho wants a new right-back and has put Diogo Dalot on top of his shopping list.

The former Milan loanee has only played six games across all competitions this season, but Mourinho is an admirer of the 22-year-old and signed him at Manchester United in 2018.

Il Corriere dello Sport reports Roma want to sign the Portugal international on loan with an option to buy.

RB Leipzig’s Benjamin Henrichs is another option for the Giallorossi with the 24-year-old who is also struggling with playing time in Germany.

Calum Chambers has been offered to the Giallorossi by intermediaries.

The 26-year-old wants to leave North London to get more playing time, but Roma are not convinced about his signing and seem unwilling to hold talks with the player’s entourage even if the defender’s contract expires in June.
