Roma are now reported to be the favourites for Sevilla striker Youssef En-Nesyri ahead of Fenerbahce, while Milan contact Tammy Abraham.

According to Footmercato, coach Daniele De Rossi spoke personally to En-Nesyri by phone and it proved a very convincing conversation.

It put the Stadio Olimpico side ahead of Fenerbahce in the running for the Morocco international, who turned 27 last month.

The asking price is €30m, despite the fact his contract with Sevilla is due to expire in June 2025 and he could soon be a free agent.

Another meeting is planned for Monday and could cement Roma’s status with the player.

Roma talk to En-Nesyri, Milan call Abraham

Meanwhile, Giallorossi striker Abraham has reportedly been contacted by Milan and is enthusiastic about the move.

Relevo reporter Matteo Moretto and transfer expert Fabrizio Romano are confident negotiations are in progress and the Englishman is eager to reboot his career at San Siro after shaking off a serious knee injury.

The 26-year-old is under contract until June 2026, so a loan with option to buy is possible.

He would not be an alternative to Alvaro Morata, but an additional forward.

Sky Sport Italia maintain Milan proposed Luka Jovic in exchange, but were rejected.

Strikers remain the most notable features of the transfer market this summer and a lot of the speculation is going through Roma and Milan.

Both are seeking two forwards, as the Rossoneri lost Olivier Giroud and the Giallorossi released Romelu Lukaku, Sardar Azmoun and Como-bound Andrea Belotti.

  1. If Fulani and co sign Dummy Abraham, then that alone incapsulates their lack of knowhow. Completely out of their depth muppets.
