Both Roma and Al-Qadsiah are still waiting to hear back from Argentina star Paulo Dybala, who received a lucrative contract offer from the Saudi Pro League side last week.

Dybala still pondering Al-Qadsiah offer

La Joya has reportedly been offered a three-year contract in a deal worth around €20m in wages per season.

He was then left out of Daniele De Rossi’s starting line-up for the opening weekend drawn against Cagliari on Sunday. He would then emerge from the bench as a second-half substitute and provided what was almost the match-winning assist.

Sky Sport Italia suggest that the decision to leave Dybala out of the starting line-up was an indication that he is not essential to the first-team plans moving forwards, even if vast sections of the Giallorossi support claim the opposite.

Tuesday’s update claims that the 30-year-old is still considering whether to accept the lucrative Saudi proposal, or to stay on for another year with Roma. His contract at the Stadio Olimpico is currently due to expire at the end of the 2024-25 campaign.
