Enze Le Fée might’ve arrived from Rennes, but Roma still need another seven reinforcements to replace those who have left this summer.

The Giallorossi are completely rebuilding following the departure of Jose Mourinho and then director of sport Tiago Pinto in January.

New boss Florent Ghisolfi struck an agreement for midfielder Le Fée, who landed at the airport yesterday and will complete his transfer for €23m over the next couple of days.

However, La Gazzetta dello Sport point out that coach Daniele De Rossi is dealing with a decimated squad after so many of his players left the club.

Many of them like Romelu Lukaku, Sardar Azmoun, Diego Llorente, Dean Huijsen, Renato Sanches and Rasmus Kristensen, were on loan, while Rui Patricio and Leonardo Spinazzola reached the end of their contracts.

It all means they need seven reinforcements in every area of the team.

This includes a second-choice goalkeeper, a centre-back and two full-backs.

Roma look around to reinforce their squad

An option in goal is veteran Monterrey shot-stopper Esteban Andrada, whose contract is running down in 2025.

Keeping the matter in the family would be Antonino Gallo of Lecce, because he is the son-in-law of De Rossi’s assistant manager Guillermo Giacomazzi.

Another full-back needs to be found, as Rick Karsdorp has again found himself frozen out of the main squad and forced to train separately from the other players.

It happened under Jose Mourinho and again now with De Rossi.

In attack, Roma are looking at Georgia international and FC Metz centre-forward Georges Mikautadze, considerably cheaper than the €35m Villarreal are demanding for Alexander Sorloth.

If Federico Chiesa does not make the jump from Juventus, then another candidate is 24-year-old Rodrigo Riquelme of Atletico Madrid.
