Roma announced the 25-man squad going to Portugal for their pre-season training camp, including Rui Patricio and Jordan Veretout.
Coach Jose Mourinho named the group of players he is taking with him to Portugal for the second half of pre-season preparations.
He hopes that Granit Xhaka can soon join the side once the details of a transfer are finally worked out with Arsenal.
Riccardo Calafiori and Veretout had injuries to rule them out of yesterday’s friendly, but they are in the travelling party.
The Serie A season kicks off on August 21 and Roma will face Fiorentina in the opening weekend.
