Reports in Italy suggest that Milan and Roma are beginning to explore the possibility of a player exchange deal involving Alexis Saelemaekers and former England international Tammy Abraham.

Milan still interested in Abraham-Saelemaekers swap with Roma

Multiple outlets, including Gianluca Di Marzio and Sky report that Milan are still interested in pursuing a deal for Abraham to provide competition for Alvaro Morata in attack. The Rossoneri have been linked with a move for the former Chelsea man on-and-off throughout the summer.

Di Marzio details that Milan would only push forwards with a deal for Abraham if they are to sell Luka Jovic before the end of the summer transfer window, which closes later this week.

If Jovic is sold, though, Milan will be left with just Morata as their only senior striker.

Roma, meanwhile, are also on the lookout for a new winger, despite the fact that Paulo Dybala is set to stay on at the Stadio Olimpico for at least another year.

  1. C’mon Football-Italia, double check your sources next time. Previously you reported Roma have already had a deal with West Ham for Tammy around €20M, now Milan is probably negotiating for Tammy.
