While it was widely reported Roma director Tiago Pinto met with Max Allegri, there are also suggestions he was in talks with Maurizio Sarri’s agent.
The new director was spotted in the same Milan hotel as Allegri on Friday during his set of meetings in the city.
Asked about the encounter, his response to reporters was “I didn’t know about it. I saw some agents and spoke to Fali Ramadani.”
This latest piece of information was picked up by Il Messaggero newspaper, who note that Ramadani also represents Sarri.

Another former Juventus coach, Sarri is currently out of work after his dismissal in Turin, despite winning the Scudetto.
Roma are said to be looking for a new tactician after Paulo Fonseca’s struggles both on and off the pitch, culminating in the bitter split with Edin Dzeko.
It seems that Allegri and Sarri are only prepared to take on the role from the start of the season rather than take over midway, so the Giallorossi are working on various options.
