Roma director Tiago Pinto reportedly met Nicolò Zaniolo’s agent today while rumours of a possible move to Juventus intensify.

The Italy international has a contract until 2024, but the two parties are nowhere near reaching an agreement over a new deal.

The player’s agent Claudio Vigorelli met Pinto today but didn’t inform the club about any offer for his client, reports Sky Sport Italia.

There are no new developments following the meeting between Zaniolo’s agent and Roma, but the Giallorossi won’t consider the starlet’s contract extension during the summer transfer window.

If Zaniolo remains at the club beyond the summer, the two parties could sit down again to discuss a new deal.

Juventus have emerged as serious candidates for the former Inter and Fiorentina starlet but are unable to match Roma’s €50-60m asking price.

The only way they can meet Roma’s demands is by making a loan offer with an obligation to buy.

  1. Roma should trade him immediately as his ego and lack of discipline in legendary plus being injured all the time he’s not dependable to play for either club or representing Italy internationally.

  2. I think the former wonderkid is not worth 30m let alone 60m, look at his output very inconsistent
