According to reports in Spain, Roma have made an opening bid to sign Barcelona defender Clement Lenglet.
José Mourinho has added the French centre-back to his shopping list and the Giallorossi have had a €15m bid rejected by Barcelona, reports Catalan paper Sport.
According to the report, the 26-year-old was offered in a potential player-plus-cash swap deal for Lorenzo Pellegrini, but the Giallorossi rejected the offer coming from the Nou Camp, using the opportunity to open talks to sign the France international.

Barcelona are open to selling but want at least €10m more, so Lenglet can leave for circa €25m.
The Giallorossi remain interested in the former Sevilla defender but are aware West Ham and Everton have also set their sights on the centre-back.
Both Premier League clubs have reportedly attempted to sign the player on loan with an option to buy.
Even if Lenglet is on Ronald Koeman’s plans for the next season, the defender’s Nou Camp exit remains on the card if the Blaugrana receive the right offer.
