According to multiple reports in Italy, Roma are ready to sell Zaniolo on loan with an obligation to buy or even in a swap deal, but Juventus and Milan are still far from reaching an agreement with the Giallorossi.

Roma are unwilling to extend Zaniolo’s contract in the summer and will listen to offers for the Italy international who scored the winner in the Conference League Final against Feyenoord. Tiago Pinto met the player’s agent Claudio Virgorelli earlier this week, confirming that the club could offer a contract extension later this year if they don’t find suitors for him in the summer.

However, according to Gazzetta dell Sport newspaper, Zaniolo wants a new €6m-a-year deal, so the Giallorossi will listen to offers for their star during the summer transfer window.

Juventus and Milan are the most interested clubs but can’t afford his signing if not in a swap deal or on loan with an option or obligation to buy.

According to the three primary Italian sports papers, Alexis Saelemaekers, Tommaso Pobega and Ante Rebic are the Rossoneri players who could be included in a swap deal from Milan, while Juventus could offer Arthur, Weston McKennie Moise Kean or Aaron Ramsey. Roma don’t seem interested in any of them and are waiting for an offer from Italy or abroad.

According to the latest report of Sky Sport Italia, Tottenham director Fabio Paratici has recently discussed the Italy international with the Giallorossi in a trip to Italy.

Roma are in no rush to sell Zaniolo, given that his contract runs out in 2024.

7 thought on “Roma make decision about Zaniolo’s future amid Juve, Milan and Spurs interest”
  1. inconsistent and too expensive, look at his output last season, he is worse than Raspadiori. 30 million max for this trouble maker

  2. i would be happy with any of these zaniola / pedro neto / gnarby / pedro goncalves / moussa diaby / anthony

  3. A shame that is is a known fact in the football world that AS Roma can not hold onto any star players. Zaniolo. Roma paid him 2 years salary when he was injured. Does he not feel he owes the club another season? Has Roma not learned that selling your best only weakens the team?
