Roma are expected to be without midfielder Enzo Le Fée for two to three weeks after he picked up an injury against Empoli, so he will certainly miss the Juventus showdown.
The summer signing had initially been on the bench for last night’s 2-1 home defeat, but came on as a substitute.
He sustained a muscular injury and initial reports suggest he could be out of action for at least two to three weeks.
It effectively means the Frenchman won’t be available for coach Daniele De Rossi until after the break for international duty and will certainly miss the clash with Juventus on September 1.
Le Fée blow for Roma
The 24-year-old was snapped up from Stade Rennes this summer at a cost of €23m.
Le Fée had started the opening Serie A match of the season, a draw away to Cagliari.
It has been a rough start to the campaign for the Giallorossi, who were held in Sardinia and then suffered a shock 2-1 home defeat to Empoli.
