German newspaper Bild claims Roma are in the running for Werder Bremen forward Max Kruse, who will be a free agent this summer.

The striker just turned 31 and has so far this season contributed 11 goals and 14 assists in 34 competitive games for his club.

Kruse has 14 senior caps for Germany, in which he scored four goals.

His contract is due to expire in June and Bild claim Roma have approached Kruse to discuss terms.

They aren’t the only Serie A side interested in a bargain, as Inter are also linked with an offer.
