According to Corriere dello Sport, the club remain keen on Gregoire Defrel from Sassuolo, but such a move is more likely to happen in the summer.

After previous interest in Luis Muriel had gone quiet, CalcioNews24 report that Roma are looking to negotiate with Sampdoria over the striker but President Massimo Ferrero may hold out for the €28m release clause in his contract.

The player has been linked with several clubs, including Napoli, Lazio and Fiorentina, but has stated that he will stay with Samp at least until the summer.
