Reports in Spain suggest that Roma are interested in Barcelona defender Clement Lenglet.
According to El Chiringuito TV, the 26-year-old centre-back is on the Giallorossi radar for this summer.
It’s not the first time this rumour has emerged, but he becomes the third Barcelona player to be linked with a Serie A move after Miralem Pjanic with Juventus and Philippe Coutinho for Lazio.
Lenglet is under contract until June 2026 and only recently extended his deal, so it would have to be a loan with option to buy.
His future under Ronald Koeman is in doubt and he came off the bench only in stoppages for the 4-2 Liga opener against Real Sociedad.
Before making the switch, Roma also need to whittle down their squad, as they already have four centre-backs at their disposal.
He has 13 senior caps for France, in which he scored one goal, and had 48 competitive appearances for Barcelona last season, contributing a goal and an assist.
