Lega Serie A have confirmed the two dates of the Derby della Capitale matches between bitter rivals Roma and Lazio.
The two Roman sides share one of the most heated rivalries in world football, regularly having clashes and confrontations both inside and outside the stadium. The derby is usually the most important game of the season for fans of both clubs and it always generates a special atmosphere at the Stadio Olimpico.
As announced by Lega Serie A, the first Derby della Capitale of the 2022-23 Serie A season will kick off on November 6, around half-way through the first half of the season. The second meeting between the sides will then take place on March 19, a match that could prove key in the race for a top four finish.
Interestingly, both matches will be played on the same days as the Derby d’Italia between Juventus and Inter, giving all Serie A fans a few weekends to look forward to.
