Roma are preparing to pick up a new right back in the summer and have reportedly started following Leicester City’s James Justin.

The Giallorossi have a number of issues in their full back department, pushing them to find some reinforcements in the summer.

Rick Karsdorp fell out with Jose Mourinho in the first half of the season and could be sold in the summer, whilst new signing Zeki Celik has failed to impress in the Italian capital.

Roma are already planning ahead for their summer transfer window and recently held a meeting with CAA Stellar, an agency that represents players like Sofyan Amrabat and Ruben Loftus-Cheek. In that meeting, another idea also arose.

Calciomercato.com reports that Roma and CAA Stellar spoke about Justin, the Leicester City right back who impressed Mourinho during their Europa Conference League semi-final clash against Roma last season.

The 25-year-old Englishman has been sidelined since November due to an Achilles tendon rupture, but Mourinho still thinks highly of him regardless.

Leicester are at risk of being relegated to the Championship and this would likely see them lose a number of their best players.

Considering his serious injury, Roma wouldn’t want to risk paying a large fee for Justin and so are hoping to agree a loan deal with a €20m buy option.
