Gianluca Di Marzio has revealed some details behind Galatasaray’s deal with Roma for Nicolo Zaniolo, which gives the Giallorossi priority for two of their brightest stars.

The 23-year-old Italian forward has already flown to Istanbul and carried out his medicals with the Turkish outfit, who will sign the player on a four-and-a-half year deal worth €3.5m net per season plus add-ons.

Zaniolo had a difficult January in the Italian capital, failing to force through a move to Milan before being rebuffed by Bournemouth after he tried to accept their offer following his initial rejection.

As reported by Di Marzio, Roma will earn around €16.5m fixed plus €13m in add-ons from the sale of Zaniolo to Galatasaray, with half of those add-ons being easy to achieve and the other half being more difficult.

The Giallorossi will also be given clear priority for young talents Yusuf Demir and Efe Akman, both of whom have started to draw attention from clubs around Europe.
