Jose Mourinho is facing an unprecedent emergency in his frontline as Roma risk being without Paulo Dybala, Lorenzo Pellegrini and Tammy Abraham for the decisive Europa League clash with RB Salzburg.

The Giallorossi need to pick up a strong win at the Stadio Olimpico this week after falling 1-0 to Salzburg in Austria, putting them in a tough spot ahead of their second Round of 16 tie.

Mourinho guided Roma to European glory last season in the Europa Conference League, but the odds are now starting to be stacked against the Portuguese coach and his squad.

Calciomercato.com highlights how Roma may be without three key forwards for their clash with RB Salzburg: Dybala, Pellegrini and Abraham.

The Argentinian forward did not train with his Giallorossi teammates today, still recovering from a thigh issue. Pellegrini started today’s training session with the squad but then exited to work individually, dealing with a slight injury of his own.

Abraham was rested from training after suffering an injury to his lower eyelid, which required six stiches. He’ll almost certainly miss the clash, but there’s a little more hope for the other two forwards.
