Former Aston Villa midfielder Veretout, meanwhile, has scored five times in 31 games for the Tuscans and is also of interest to Napoli.

The 26-year-old would cost in the region of €30m, but he has set his sights on joining a Champions League club so any deal would depend on where Roma finish this season.
