Now Sky is reporting that El Shaarawy will fly into Rome at 20.15 local time [19.15 GMT] tonight, before having his medical tomorrow.

The Italian international had spent the first half of the season on loan at Monaco, but the principality side have frozen him out after 24 appearances, as they’d have to buy him if he played 25 games.
With Gervinho set for a move to China, El Shaarawy is expected to be his replacement, with the Lupi having the option to make the move permanent at the end of the season.
