Jose Mourinho has again excluded Borja Mayoral, Gonzalez Villar, Amadou Diawara and Bryan Reynolds from the squad to face Cagliari, but Marash Kumbulla is given another chance.

The coach took this action at the weekend for the 0-0 draw with Napoli, following the humiliating 6-1 Europa Conference League defeat to Bodo/Glimt.

Mourinho slammed the players in Norway, insisting they were nowhere near at the same level as his first choice 13.

He is trying to prove a point to the club and fans now by using the same starting XI in every match.

Sending these players to the stands shows they are not part of his plans and are inevitably heading out of the Stadio Olimpico in the January transfer market.

There is one change, though, as defender Kumbulla is brought back after he was left out of the squad on Sunday.

  1. I think its a positive moment for these guys. You got HWHOPPED in Norway.

    Back to the training grounds!

They all have talent. Mou is here to show the way to utilize it!
