Roma have unveiled their new home kit for the upcoming season, saying that its design is a ‘tribute to the club’s DNA.’

Roma are the latest Serie A club to drop the home kit for the 2024-25 campaign.

“The jersey design is a tribute to the club’s DNA, in an elegant tribute to the past, the shape of which is updated according to contemporary canons,” the Giallorossi said in a statement.

It is predominantly dark red with thin yellow stripes, the same colour as the club’s crest and the main sponsor.

“The shirt has a dark red base, with the addition of thin gold stripes and a deeper red on the front,” Roma continued.

“The club logo is applied at the position of the heart with the adoption of the same shade of red as on the jersey. The round-neck design features the brand’s three iconic stripes on the shoulders in a golden version. On the back of the collar, the detail “A.S. Roma” appears, also inspired by the 1933/34 seasonal tickets.”

The Serie A side posted the first pictures of the new jersey worn by some of their stars, such as Paulo Dybala, Gianluca Mancini and Bryan Cristante, on their official social media accounts.

Roma won their first summer friendly 6-1 on Wednesday against Latina.

They’ll make their 2024-25 Serie A debut on August 18 away at Cagliari.
