Roma CEO Guido Fienga has declared that his club's doors are open to Francesco Totti if he wishes to return.

Fienga spoke at Roma's annual shareholders meeting on Monday, notably expressing sadness at Totti's departure over the summer.

"Totti is certainly one of the most important players in the history of Roma, he continues to be one of our heroes," stated the executive.

"We love him, but he is no longer part of the group and we can't take him into account. We respect his choice."

'Er Pupone' felt the Giallorossi were not listening to his advice concerning players and essentially treated him as nothing more than a figurehead.

Despite that, Fienga was the only board member whom the 43-year-old praised as he bid farewell to the Lupi at a fiery Press conference in June.
