Roma have reached an agreement to sign Diego Llorente from Leeds United on loan with obligation to buy, while they also close on Rasmus Kristensen.
Llorente already spent the last six months at the Stadio Olimpico on loan at a cost of €500,000.
According to Sky Sport Italia, the deal has been done to renew the Llorente loan, but with an added obligation to buy for €5m if certain conditions are met.
Those conditions would be that the defender plays at least 50 per cent of the competitive Roma matches in this season.
It is something of a bargain, considering Leeds paid €20m to sign Llorente from Real Sociedad in the summer of 2020, but Leeds are put in a difficult position by their relegation from the Premier League.
Another Leeds United player on the verge of joining Roma is right-back Kristensen, as it is reported he will arrive on loan with option to buy for €10m.
