Roma's appeal hearing for the Amadou Diawara case has reportedly been postponed to November 4.

The hearing was scheduled for today but, according to Ansa, Roma have requested to postpone it as the CEO Guido Fienga would not be able to attend the meeting physically.

Roma were penalised for irregularly fielding the young midfielder in the 0-0 draw with Verona in the opening game of the season with Hellas that received a 3-0 victory.

Diawara was included in the U-22 list by mistake as the player had turned 23 in July. Roma had argued it was not an error that influenced the game, because there were still four empty slots in the senior squad list that Diawara could’ve taken up if he’d been in the correct section.
