Mapou Yanga-Mbiwa will miss Roma’s trip to Bergamo at the weekend, as the club confirm the defender has suffered a hamstring strain.
The Giallorossi are already expected to be without Douglas Maicon, and tests this morning at Trigoria have confirmed that Yanga-Mbiwa has sustained a hamstring injury after France’s friendly with Albania on Friday.
“Mapou was given an examination this morning which confirmed the presence of a first degree lesion to the semitendinosus muscle of the right thigh,” Roma confirmed in a statement on the club’s official website.
“The player has already started the rehabilitation process.”
The stopper is expected to be sidelined for three weeks.
