Italian sources suggest Roma are edging closer to a deal for Galatasaray left-back Angeliño, as parent club RB Leipzig are open to a loan with option to buy.
The defender just turned 27 earlier this month and had made the move to Galatasaray on loan for €1.5m with an option to buy that could become an obligation for €6m if certain conditions were met.
However, after six months in Turkey he was already eager to leave and try a new experience elsewhere.
There is also interest from Torino, Sassuolo and Olympique Marseille, but Roma remain the absolute favourites, even with Daniele De Rossi taking over from sacked Jose Mourinho.
According to DAZN, RB Leipzig are seemingly ready to give the all-clear to interrupt the Galatasaray loan and instead send him to Roma, on loan with an option to buy.
There would be no obligation for the former Manchester City player, who has already agreed personal terms with the Stadio Olimpico side.
