While Roma get closer to securing a deal with PSG for Georginio Wijnaldum, Jose Mourinho excludes Justin Kluivert and Riccardo Calafiori from training.

The Giallorossi are working on the final details to bring Wijnaldum in on loan with option to buy for circa €30m, which could become an obligation to buy if they qualify for the Champions League.

The only remaining concerns are how to divide up the cost of his €9m per season salary during the loan period.

Meanwhile, Mourinho is making room for new signings by cutting Kluivert and Calafiori out of the regular training routine.

Kluivert just returned on loan from OGC Nice and has been linked with a potential move to Fulham in the Premier League.

Calafiori spent last term on loan at Genoa, but barely featured for them as they battled against relegation.

The Roma youth product recently changed his agent and there was some interest from Cremonese, FC Basel and FC Zurich.
