Roma are reportedly close to signing 19-year-old Santos defender Matheus Guedes, claim sources in Brazil.
According to Gazeta Esportiva, the Giallorossi are in advanced talks for the centre-back who turned 19 last month.
He came up through their youth academy and is discussing a new contract, as his current deal expires on March 31.
It’s claimed Roma have been tracking his progress for at least two years.
Guedes is very tall already, standing at 1.95 metres, and a left-footed centre-back.
