Roma director Tiago Pinto dodged questions about Nicolò Zaniolo after a meeting with Milan. ‘We talked about the weather, cars, women…’
If Zaniolo is to leave the Giallorossi this summer, it’s widely reported he will be heading either towards San Siro or the Allianz Juventus Stadium.
So when an irritable Tiago Pinto was caught by a gaggle of reporters leaving a meeting with Milan, he was asked if they had discussed the Italy international.
“We talked about the weather, cars, women, all sorts of things…” was the response.
Tiago Pinto also shrugged off questions about progress in Roma’s talks for Sassuolo midfielder Davide Frattesi. Is he an objective?
“My objective is to walk down the road to my hotel.”
