Roma book Hummels medical and wait for Manolas’ return
According to reports, Hummels will sign a one-year contract with an option for a further campaign. He’ll get €2.5m for 2024-25.
After Hummels, the Giallorossi will also get another centre-back, and in this case, it’s a familiar face at the Stadio Olimpico.
Both newspapers claim that Manolas is close to reaching an agreement with the Giallorossi, returning to the club after a five-year spell from 2014 until 2019.
The Greek international is also expected to sign a one-year contract but with a salary of circa €450,000.
Manolas is without a club after the end of his contract with Salernitana in July. He has made 224 Serie A appearances in his career.
