The Russians play host to the Giallorossi in the fifth round of Champions League group stage action looking to avenge the reverse fixture’s 5-1 result in favour of the Italians.
“That sort of result can happen to anyone, they too conceded seven to Bayern,” defender Berezutski has considered in his pre-match conference today.
“In other matches in the Champions League we have demonstrated that we can defend much better. I am sure that tomorrow will be a different game.
“In the first match [5-1 loss in Rome] we had problems dealing with their attackers. Therefore there is no point in just singling out Francesco Totti.
“As you know, we are not playing against individuals. We will analyse the way Roma play and our Coach will have his input.”
Berezutski was asked about Roma being able to adapt or not to temperatures tomorrow expected to be -6.
“Every single time there are the same questions that clubs from southern countries hate the cold.
“Some teams like Porto come here and see snow for the first time. That said, it has not really helped us in the past.”
