Milan and Roma have reportedly stepped up the chase for Fiorentina forward Dusan Vlahovic.

The Serbian striker scored a hat-trick against Benevento on Saturday to confirm his growth with the Viola even further.

The attacker has attracted attention from several top clubs but has a contract with Fiorentina until June 2023.

La Gazzetta dello Sport reports he doesn’t seem willing to renew with the Viola, even if patron Rocco Commisso is prepared to triple his salary from the current €400,000 a year to €1.2m.

The newspaper claims Roma have already sent their proposal but adds that Milan are monitoring the Serbian’s situation in Florence.

The Giallorossi would like the youngster as an outright replacement for Edin Dzeko, whilst the Rossoneri are prepared to play him alongside Zlatan Ibrahimovic for a season to help his development.

But the report highlights that Milan are yet to table an offer for the striker, who has scored 12 goals in 26 Serie A games this term.
