According to Tuttosport, Torino are unhappy with their midfielder Sasa Lukic who said he’d consider a transfer after the World Cup, so Roma and Leeds United could make a move in January.

The Serbia international is one of the 11 Serie A players called up by his national team for Qatar 2022. His contract at the Stadio Grande Torino runs out in June 2024 and according to Tuttosport, he has rejected a contract extension which would include a €25m clause.

The 26-year-old had been frozen out of the squad for a few weeks in the summer when he tried to push his exit. He clarified his position with coach Ivan Juric and the club and was reintroduced to the team, but was stripped of the captain’s armband.

The midfielder has once again hinted at a possible exit saying that he’d consider his future after the World Cup, leaving his current club unhappy.

“I have great ambition and I am sure I’ll get where I want whether it’s after the World Cup or in the summer,” he told Sportal last week.

Roma and Leeds have reportedly set their sights on the talented midfielder who is considering changing his agent to ease a transfer. According to the report, Torino want at least €15m to sell him during the winter transfer window.
