Roma and Atalanta are reportedly considering a summer swoop for FC Augsburg defender Felix Uduokhai.

The 23-year-old centre-back has a Nigerian father and German mother, was born and raised in Germany, playing for Die Mannschaft at various youth levels and currently participating in the Tokyo Olympics.

He can also play as a right-back or in a more advanced defensive midfield role.

According to Calciomercato.it, both Roma and Atalanta are watching his situation closely and ready to make an offer.

The asking price is believed to be circa €15m, which would almost double what Augsburg paid to sign him from Wolfsburg last year after an initial loan.

The very tall defender stands at 1.92 metres and just scored the winner for Germany against Saudi Arabia in the Olympic Games.

Uduokhai had been one of the candidates to be included in the Germany squad for UEFA EURO 2020, but seeing as he has not yet made his first senior appearance, could potentially still switch allegiance to Nigeria.
