Eusebio Di Francesco has made it clear that Roma are already over missing out on Malcom. “There are lots of other players available.”
Roma were pipped to the chase by Barcelona at the 11th hour for Malcom, but Di Francesco asserted he ‘didn’t care’ about not signing the former Bordeaux forward, seemingly giving credence to speculation that his club have lined up alternatives.

“There are lots of other players available,” said the Coach at a Press conference for the Giallorossi’s International Champions Cup opener against Tottenham Hotspur on Thursday.
“It didn’t go as Monchi had hoped, but I don’t care about it anymore. We have a competitive squad.
“It’s normal that we’re always vigilant in the market. We have excellent players and we know what we have to do. We’ll do whatever we deem appropriate.
“These games, in which I will give everyone minutes, will be indicative. I’m happy with Pastore, he’s putting a lot of effort into finding the right shape. Having played so little, he has to get sharper, but he’s improving.
“Karsdorp? He must train continuously. Marcano? He’s the one who surprised me the most. He presented himself best physically and mentally.”
