Atalanta director Pierpaolo Marino confirmed Roma are after goalkeeper Marco Sportiello and full-back Davide Zappacosta.
The 22-year-olds have enjoyed an impressive season with La Dea and are now being linked with the likes of Juventus, Inter and Liverpool.
The Giallorossi, who were already rumoured to be after Zappacosta, appear to have joined the race for Sportiello as well.

“Roma follow them with interest,” admitted Marino in an interview with Il Corriere dello Sport. “They are two young players that we developed.
“To make way for Sportiello we gave away a solid goalkeeper like [Andrea] Consigli. We knew we were doing the right thing.”
Roma will have the opportunity to see them up close today, as Atalanta visit the Stadio Olimpico this afternoon.
