The central defender identified for the Giallorossi is believed to be Sassuolo's 27-year-old Acerbi, and a contact between the two clubs may take place today.
As an alternative, Roma could go after Empoli's Lorenzo Tonelli. A deal may be feasible at €10m.
The full-back for Spalletti is allegedly Barcelona's Adriano. The Liga club have given their green light for a transfer, and the player is believed to be happy with the move as well.
