Cagliari midfielder Marko Rog underwent surgery at Villa Stuart this morning. ‘The operation was perfectly successful’.
The Rossoblu star was operated by Prof Mariani at Villa Stuart today, having struggled with the injury since the friendly against Augsburg.
Cagliari announced the operation was successful and his recovery times are estimated at six months, starting the rehabilitation programme in the next few days.
“Football played Marko Rog has undergone surgery for the reconstruction of the anterior cruciate ligament of his right knee,” the club wrote in a statement.
“The operation, performed at the Villa Stuart clinic in Rome by Prof. Pier Paolo Mariani, was perfectly successful.”
